Nino and Clare tied the knot at the St Marys Chapel with a beautiful reception to follow at MOTAT - for those out of Auckland that is the Museum of Transport and Technology! The reception space had such a relaxed vibe and even featured its own whisky lounge. Once the sun set the whole place was lit with amazing fairy lights!
The dance floor was full the entire night and everyone had such a great time dancing to the live band - Rebel without applause - what made this even more special was Ninos dad is the sax player, how cool is that!
Thank you Nino & Clare for having Anna and I at your big day! <3

Logan & Soraya tied the knot on November 30th 2017. In typical Auckland fashion the weather wasn't sure if it was going to be blue sky or pouring with rain so naturally we got a bit of both. Our initial plan for the first look was rained out so instead we huddled under a verandah outside the beautiful venue. After a few bridal party shots we drove to the ceremony at the church of St Peters & Paul in Puhoi, this is where the sun had been hiding all day.
After a few more last minute changes to the plan which included more rain and a swarm of bees we found a cute spot amongst some vines to take more photos.
Kumeu Valley Estate was the perfect setting for their reception. The guests were treated to lawns games, a photo booth and some awesome speeches. Thank you so much for having me share in your perfect day with you <3
John and Amy were recently married in a beautiful garden setting in Auckland.
Their wedding day was filled with so much emotion, right from the moment John saw his bride walking down the aisle. The forecast was for rain but we had nothing but sunshine, a few clouds and a heap of smiles!
Thank you for having me share in your day guys.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Carlson <3
Recently I had the privilege of flying to Gisborne to photograph Rob & Katie tying the knot at the Botanical Gardens. The wedding morning was looking a bit grey from my hotel room and rain was definitely on the horizon but it held off and they were married under the most beautiful (and perfectly timed) cherry blossom trees!
Katie entered the ceremony from a staircase in the Australian garden, giving a bit of a nod to her new hubbies background! The confetti at the ceremony was tiny cut outs of kiwis and kangaroos!
After the ceremony we took a bunch of photos at the gardens then head to Wainui beach. It was so stunning! The reception took place at the Wainui Beach surf club, where the guests were treated to some great speeches and a fair amount of Kiwi/Aussie banter!
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Fitzpatrick <3
Michael & Amanda are officially husband and wife! I had the absolute honour of joining Michael, Amanda and their wonderful family and friends (and Archie of course) to celebrate the big day. They married at the stunning chapel at Kings College where Michael is an old boy with a fabulous reception to follow at Cibo.
The bridal party were so much fun as I dragged them from the Auckland Wintergardens, to the Museum and the Parnell Rose Gardens. We finished the bridal shoot under the exact tree where Michael asked Amanda to marry him <3
Such an incredible day with this beautiful couple so deeply in love. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Leightley
This stunning wedding was the perfect start to the 2017 wedding season! Tim & Anna were wed in the beautiful St Paul's church in Auckland City. The ceremony was filled with so much love and the most amazing singing. The reception followed at The Boathouse in Riverhead, where the guests were treated to some great speeches and sweet dance moves! Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Dunn xx
Ava and big bro Max came to visit me in the studio a couple of weeks back for a very pretty floral cakesmash & milk bath! She took her role as lead cake smasher pretty seriously, while Max sat on the side eating the chunks of cake she pulled off. Some encouragement from big bro and she was into it face first but totally maintained her classiness <3
Riaan + Andrea were married last month in a private garden setting in Auckland. Thank goodness the rain stayed away and they were able to make it official in front of their closest family & friends.
It must have been love at first sight when this gorgeous couple first met. Their workplaces are right next door to each other, I can just imagine all the flirting that must have taken place in the early days. The bridal party were so much fun to be around and seriously, the kids were just too cute! I think it must have been all the long grass we trekked through but my eyes were definitely welling up during the ring bearers speech.
Congratulations Mr + Mrs Nel, thank you for letting me be a part of your special day x
From the moment I met Shaun & Josie at their home I knew this wedding would be something special! These guys are so perfect for each other, they were both so laid back on their wedding day and such fun to be around. My cheeks were seriously sore by the end of the evening.
Markovina Vineyard in Kumeu (my new fave!) set the scene for their beautiful ceremony and reception. They exchanged perfect heart felt vows and shared a few tears.
After spending the day with these guys and hearing such heartfelt toasts and stories of the two of them, you could just feel how genuinely perfect they are together. Shaun & Josie, your wedding was beautiful, you both looked amazing and I was so inspired by the love you share. Everything about your wedding felt like an extension of you both - the people, decor and the downright vibe. It was an honour. Enjoy x
